At Bishop Luers High School, faith is the foundation of who we are. The St. Francis of Assisi Chapel stands at the center of our campus—both physically and spiritually—serving as a place of prayer, reflection, and encounter with Christ. Named in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, our chapel embodies his spirit of humility, peace, and joyful service to God.

A Place of Prayer and Worship
The chapel is home to our school’s liturgical life. Here, students, faculty, and staff gather regularly to celebrate Mass, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and spend quiet time in adoration and personal prayer. Whether in community or in solitude, all are welcome to find peace in the presence of Christ.

Faith in Daily Life
The St. Francis of Assisi Chapel reminds us that faith is not confined to one moment or place—it is part of everything we do. Students begin and end their days with prayer, join together for school-wide liturgies, and are encouraged to live out the Gospel through service, compassion, and leadership.

Honoring Our Patron Saint
St. Francis of Assisi, known for his love of creation and devotion to Christ, inspires our school community to live simply, serve others, and see the image of God in every person. His example guides Bishop Luers students to grow in faith, hope, and love as they prepare to be disciples in the world.

Whether you are a student, parent, alumni, or visitor, the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel offers a space to pause, pray, and experience God’s presence. It is a sacred reminder that Bishop Luers High School is not just a place of learning—it is a place of faith, family, and grace. The Chapel is open daily to all students and staff from 7am-3pm.
Here is a schedule for the Chapel:

  • Class Mass - Wednesday during KRT
  • Team Mass - Friday during KRT
  • Eucharistic Adoration - 1st Friday of each month
  • Sacrament of Confession - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Daily Decade - student led decade of the rosary before each lunch period
  • Monthly All School Holy Mass -celebrated in the BLHS gymnasium
