Bishop Luers High School is excited to announce the launch of its Career Readiness Program, in partnership with the University of Saint Francis and Leffler Academy! This program will provide Bishop Luers students with valuable exposure to college and career preparation – giving them a head start upon graduation.
Junior and senior students will have the opportunity to take entry-level college courses in the health sciences and education fields, with the option to earn dual credit, acquire 75 clinical hours, and receive a certification. Beginning in Fall 2025, pathways will include Education and CNA programs, with exposure to Phlebotomy, Electrocardiography, EMT, LPN, and Medical Billing. All courses will be taught on the campus of the University of Saint Francis.
Also within this Career Readiness Program, Bishop Luers is working to expand its Career Technical Acadamy (CTE) offerings for students.

Congratulations to Mrs. Brough, who officially received the Bishop Luers 2024-25 Christ the Teacher Award from Bishop Rhoades today! Congratulations also to Mrs. Karst, who received the prestigious Monsignor J. William Lester Award today. Diane Karst worked at Bishop Luers High School for over 35 years as a math teacher. Now retired, she still supports the school at athletic events. Well deserved!

Mrs. Krouse's theater class visited St. Aloysius Catholic School last week to perform Belle and the Beast for Pre-K through 4th grade students. The class also taught the audience the process of applying stage makeup. Such a fun day!
