Ella plans to attend Indiana University Bloomington to study Biology. Her four most rewarding extra-curricular activities include Academic Super Bowl (where she was Science and English team captain), Theater (All 12 shows), National Honor Society (President), and Mayor's Youth Engagement Council. Today was Fr. Theodore Ekwem's final time celebrating an All-School Mass at Bishop Luers High School, as he will be leaving us for other priestly assignments at the end of the semester. Assistant Principal Mandy Allen wore a Nigerian outfit that Fr. Theodore's mother had made for her as a sign of gratitude today. We are so thankful for the joy, laughter, and knowledge that Fr. Another exciting update from the Bishop Luers Rifle Team:

At the Air Rifle State Championship, the BLHS Rifle Team placed 7th overall out of 15 teams in the 60 shot standing position beating Bellmont Red, Concordia, Bellmont Blue, Carroll, The X Count IA, Versailles American Legion, Culver, and Floyd Central.

Also, the team placed 11th overall out of 16 teams in the 3 position match beating The X Count, Concordia P2, Culver V, Floyd Central, Culver P, and Concordia P3.

Congratulations to incoming freshman Sammie Spoltman on medaling in the following U15 categories:
1st Place Gold Medal - Prone
