Bishop Luers' Culture Club recently took a trip to visit the Toledo Museum of Art. The students were excited to view world-class art displayed in the neo classical building and the museum's sculpture gardens . The club was also able to enjoy a meal at Sweet Havana, a Cuban restaurant that served traditional Cuban meals.

Today Bishop Luers welcomed 7th graders from several of our feeder schools who came to watch the Spring Musical performance of "Once Upon a Mattress."
Schools included St. John the Baptist FW, St. John the Baptist New Haven, St. Joseph Hessen Cassel, St. Joseph FW, Most Precious Blood, and Huntington Catholic.

On Monday morning Bishop Luers students delivered a Little Free Food Pantry to the Shawnee Library near the school. This project was a collaboration with the art department and student government. Advanced 2D students submitted design ideas for the pantry, and then voted on which design to use. Angelina Phattavong's design was chosen, and then Angelina led a small team of students that painted the cabinet and delivered it to the library. Student government helped deliver the pantry, and is planning to help keep it stocked. Our first stock of food was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Doctor.

This past weekend the National Honors Society celebrated their annual Induction Ceremony! This ceremony is the official induction of the new members of the National Honors Society and serves as an opportunity to remind all members of the pillars of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character which are to be upheld by every member of the prestigious society.
NHS members also honored the seniors with their official NHS Graduation Regalia, which they will wear as they walk across the stage on graduation day. We are so proud of our seniors and are looking forward to watching the new members lead our community!

Dr. Park Gunder from Grow Allen recently spoke with Mrs. Carroll's Principles of Business Course about the importance of Owning Your Presence. He stressed the importance of making a good first impression, learning to control those factors which are under a person's control and learning to speak well and with clarity. He used these lessons then to work through real-life situations which the students will encounter such as encountering a rude person or having your cell phone buzzing during an important meeting.
