During the unit on Criminal Law and Procedure, Mrs. Carroll’s Business and Personal Law Class put the Big Bad Wolf (Alexandria T. Wolff) from the Three Little Pigs on trial for Attempted Hamicide, Trespassing, Destruction of Property, Disturbing the Peace, Domestic Terrorism, and a Hate Crime against Pigs. Both the prosecuting attorney and defense attorney presented very strong cases with compelling evidence. The jury was left to debate and ended up being a hung jury on all counts except for Domestic Terrorism where a verdict of Not Guilty was returned.

Mr. Davis’ AP US History class had a Roaring 20's party today! Students engaged in different stations ranging from learning 1920's slang, learning the “Charleston” dance and learning more about prohibition. Students could dress up in 1920's attire and participate in a 1920's photobooth for extra credit.

This morning the Lady Knights basketball team greeted St. John the Baptist FW students on their way to school! They joined the staff prayer, and following prayer, sang the BLHS Fight Song. Addie Shank (St. John alum) led prayer, pledge, and birthdays on the morning announcements and then the whole group visited classrooms. One young man even brough roses for one of our athletes. Thank you to St. John the Baptist FW for your support!
