ADMISSION:
$7.00 per person. Children age 5 and younger admitted free. Per the IHSAA, all tickets will be digital through your mobile phone and may be purchased using the link below (additional fees may apply.) No cash. Present your verification on your mobile phone at the gate for admission – QR Codes will be available at the gate, but best to purchase in advance. Student ID’s and all passes ARE NOT accepted during post season.

CONCESSIONS:
Our concession booths will be open - located on the north side of visitor bleachers.
The Stand will be on the home side selling hot dogs, coneys, sliders and walking tacos and Two Toms Coffee Truck will be selling drinks - accessible by walking around the north end of the track (opposite side of parking lot near Southgate Plaza.) NO outside food or drinks will be permitted.
NOTES FOR SPECTATORS:
NO PASS OUTS. Please remember to bring in coats, umbrellas, blankets, etc. if needed.
RESTROOMS – portable restrooms are on visitor side near ticket booth. Additional restrooms are located on the north side of the home bleachers - white trailer; accessible by walking around the north end of the track near Southgate Plaza.
PARKING – be mindful that we have limited parking spaces behind and in front of the school. Please DO NOT park on the concrete walkway at the front door entrance of the school – grassy areas are ok. Lutheran South Unity School does allow parking in their lot for a fee.
RESTRICTIONS:
1. Banners and posters are not allowed.
2. Battery powered or electronic noise makers, fireworks, recorded music (permissible during- quarter breaks, halftime, and post-game) , sirens, whistles or airhorns are not allowed.
3. Throwing of articles, including toilet tissue and baby powder, is not allowed.
4. No live animal mascots are permitted at any time.

The Bishop Luers High School freshman class had their yearly retreat earlier this week. A select group of our very own Bishop Luers seniors served as missionaries for the day. Following the retreat theme of Unity, freshman had the opportunity to participate in team building activities, a panel discussion, small group talks and missionary-led witnesses. The day concluded with Adoration, Confession, and Holy Mass.

Students from Heather's Closet and Locker Room Leaders helped the Field Dads paint Luers Field with purple ribbons, preparing for Friday night's Purple Out game to bring awareness to domestic violence. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple Friday night at the game!

On Monday evening, several Bishop Luers High School students and staff attended the Right to Life of Northeast Indiana Fall Banquet and helped set two new records. First, this was the largest banquet ever held in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, and second, the largest pro-life banquet in the US in 2024 to date - with around 3,000 people in attendance. Keynote speaker Jim Caviezel, lead actor in "The Passion of the Christ" and "Sound of Freedom," spoke about the dignity of our children, including the unborn, and how it is our duty to keep our children safe. Congratulations to Right to Life of Northeast Indiana as they are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

Due to inclement weather during Homecoming, the Bishop Luers Block Party was postponed. Now the Block Party is scheduled for Friday, October 18 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the corner of Doan and Noll. All BLHS students, families, staff, alumni and friends are invited to join us for an evening of fun prior to the football game! The Distinguished and Honorary Alumni Awards will be presented at halftime that evening as well.

Bishop Luers seniors volunteered at the Diocesan All-School Mass for Catholic schools in the Fort Wayne area, held in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum this morning. Some directed traffic in the parking lot, others greeted the fourth grade students and teachers as they arrived. Our Bishop Luers choir provided the sacred music for Mass along with Bishop Dwenger students and grade school students, directed by Bishop Luers Choir Director Kris Andorfer.

Bishop Luers High School participated in a Sodalitas In-House Day of Service this morning. Activities included sorting seeds for Little River Wetlands/Eagle Marsh, sorting and tagging clothing for the Christ Child Society, creating blankets for Animal Care and Control, and writing cards for the Rescue Mission and veterans participating in an upcoming Honor Flight. Seniors also participated in a Refugee Simulation, where they learned what daily life is like for an immigrant. Below are the hours and costs that we saved for those organizations:
Seeds – Little River Wetlands/Eagle Marsh - 270 hours of work and $8900
Clothes sorted and tagged – Christ Child Society - 60 hours and $1900
Cat Blankets – Animal Care and Control – 110 hours and $3630
Cards – Rescue Mission and Honor Flight – 110 hours and $3630
Refugee Simulation (awareness) – Catholic Charities – 75 hours and $2475
Total – 625 hours and $20,535
