The Bishop Luers High School NEW FAMILY Financial Aid/Tuition Meeting will be on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 6:30p.m. Parents should enter through Door #10 (in back off the main parking lot); the meeting will be in the Media Center. Information will be shared regarding tuition payment plans, financial aid and scholarship opportunities. This meeting will also be conducted for parents in Spanish at 6:30pm in another room. Mrs. Carol's Introduction to Business students completed their course work this semester by creating a Food Truck Project. This project included a business plan and a food truck made out of a cardboard box. #LuersSpirit

The Bishop Luers Athletic Department is excited to introduce Travis White as our new Head Track & Field Coach for both our boys’ and girls’ programs! Travis is a Fort Wayne native and a 2006 graduate of Northrop High School where he earned multiple team, relay state championships and is an individual high jump state champion. He attended Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois where he won a NJCAA National Title and a 4X400m Relay National Title. Travis received a full scholarship to the University of Kansas before enlisting in the United States Marine Corp where he served five years. Travis is also a former Men’s Head Track Coach at Forest High School in Ocala, Florida. He is married to Brittany White and has five children: Madison, Mckenzie, James, August and Briana. We are looking forward to the multitude of experience Travis will bring the Track & Field program here at Bishop Luers! #LuersSpirit #goknights

On the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Bishop Luers Chaplain Father Theodore Ekwem concelebrated Holy Mass with Bishop Rhoades. Bishop Luers students Noah Becker, Nate Javins, and Alejandro Palma volunteered as the servers at this Mass. #LuersSpirit

Lessons and Carols is a reverent and beautiful Advent reflection on Scripture passages that foretell the coming of Christ as the Incarnate Word. The Bishop Luers Choir will provide Sacred Music between each Bible passage that is read. This event is free and open to all, join us as we reflect on the coming of Jesus. This event is held in the Bishop Luers High School Chapel. #LuersSpirit

In November, Anatomy and AP Biology classes took a field trip to the University of Saint Francis. They participated in an Exercise Physiology lab, testing grip strength and measuring postures. In the Surgical Technology lab they learned about surgical instruments and how to pass them properly during surgeries. The students also visited the cadaver lab and Anatomage room. #LuersSpirit
