Bishop Luers High School currently offers the following extracurriculars. As a smaller school, our students have the opportunity to be involved in multiple activities in the same year. For example, several of our student athletes (football, basketball, tennis, softball) also performed in the musical this spring.

Renovations are now underway in Christine Goodin's science lab (Room 130). This project was made possible by the Bishop Luers Class of '73, who generously donated over $75,000 to the science department as a Class Gift. Updates will include new paint, flooring, ceiling, light fixtures, and more! Additional photos to come.

Volleyball Camp registration is now open! July 16-18 from 5pm-7pm at Bishop Luers.
Camp Objectives: Introduce young campers to the sport of volleyball and sharpen skills for older campers all in a FUN atmosphere.
Camp Staff: Campers will receive instruction from the Bishop Luers coaching staff, and BLHS volleyball players. A trainer will be on sight to ensure the safety of all.

Who: Any student, Grades 4-9 (incoming Fall 2024)
When: Monday, July 8th - Thursday, July 11th
Times: Grades 4-6* (1:00pm to 2:30pm) and Grades 7-9* (3:00pm to 4:30pm)
Location: Swinney Park Tennis Courts
Cost: $40 (includes a T-Shirt*)

The Bishop Luers Tennis Camp is designed to develop and challenge all levels of players. The curriculum includes group lessons, drills, games, and conditioning. Most importantly, the camp takes place in an atmosphere of fun and good sportsmanship.

What: Bishop Luers Football Camp for 4th - 8th graders (2024-2025 school year)
When: June 24 - 27
Time: 4:00pm-6:00pm
Where: Bishop Luers High School, 333 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, 46816
Cost: $30.00 per camper - includes t-shirt
Equipment needed - Cleats, gym shoes (in case of inclement weather)
Camp Objectives: Campers will receive basic instruction in football fundamentals. Each camper will complete several position-specific drills, with great instruction on techniques and how to effectively use them in game situations.
Camp Staff: Campers will receive instruction from the Bishop Luers coaching staff and current/former BLHS football players. Also on site will be trainers from BLHS and Indiana Physical Therapy to ensure the safety of all.
