Students, teachers, and staff participated in an All-School Blessing led by BLHS Chaplain Father Patrick Hake this afternoon. Students lined the halls while Father Patrick sprinkled holy water on them and on the school building. All students then joined the procession, which ended in the gym with a final blessing.

Our prayers and condolences go out to the family of former Bishop Luers High School Principal Tiffany Albertson, who recently passed away. Tiffany served at BLHS from 2007-2017 in the roles of Principal and Assistant Principal. Tiffany was a caring and devoted principal to her students and staff, always willing to help others. She also served the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend as Assistant Principal and teacher at Bishop Dwenger High School. We pray that her soul is at rest in the Holy Spirit and for the comfort of her family.
Happy Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Bishop Luers High School celebrated this Holy Day of Obligation with the first All-School Mass of the Fall Semester. Following Mass, many students received honors during the Fall Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all of our students! Our Lady, Queen of All Saints, pray for us!

Below is a message from Tommy McComb (Class of 2024) about the St. Francis Teaching Garden at Bishop Luers High School. Thank you Tommy!
Oh how far we’ve grown and I mean that quite literally. Just under a year ago, this was just a plot of grass with no garden in sight. However, after the Bishop Luers community wholeheartedly responded to the fundraiser, we had more than enough funding to begin building. After hours of planning, shoveling, measuring, towing, assembling, and so much more, the garden set ready to be planted and enjoyed by many to come. In its existence it has hosted 1st grade classes excited to learn more about gardening, Girl Scouts preparing to receive their gardening patches, and the newly formed Bishop Luers garden group ready to get some service hours in. And on a personal note, this garden has meant so much to me not only as a student but now as a Bishop Luers alum preparing to enter college in the fall. As I embark on my next adventure, I am incredibly proud to look back and see what an amazing experience this has been and I hope it will be a lasting symbol of my time at Luers.
Looking to the future, I am excited to see what the Bishop Luers gardening group has in store for the garden’s future and I am extremely grateful for Key Club and National Honors Society for working with me and providing volunteers to help the garden be as successful as possible.
ALSO IMPORTANT NOTE: Feel free to come by and pick any produce you need. If you are able to offer a donation, please do. There will be a donation box and a book to record what you take. However, if you cannot, still take what you need. This garden is for you! I still ask that you are respectful and take only as much as you need. You can always come back for more :)

Senior Parking Spot Painting is coming up soon!
- Who can Purchase: Current seniors can purchase a reserved parking space for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Where to Purchase: You may purchase a reserved parking space for $40 in the Business Office. **This will be in addition to the $45 parking pass fee.**
- When can you paint? Seniors may paint their parking spot on Saturday, August 3 from 10am-3pm. All painting must be completed by August 4th.
- Additional Information: All artwork must use appropriate language and imagery. Any artwork that is deemed inappropriate will be removed and the parties will be subject to disciplinary action.
