Today was a big day for our Bishop Luers Seniors! The morning began with a breakfast provided by the Bishop Luers Alumni Board. Each senior received a keychain as a gift from the alumni association. Students led a school tour for visiting alumni. Then the whole student body participated in the Senior Mass/May Crowning, with Father Patrick Hake officiating. Wes Javins and Ellen Rorick crowned Mary, then each senior brought up a rose. Following Mass, Mark Linker presented this year's Central Catholic Alumni Association Award to Virginia Gladding. Congratulations to all, only a few days left until graduation!

Last Saturday, the Bishop Luers Band performed for guests at the annual Jazz Café! The fundraiser event included raffles, food, drinks, and an evening of music. Band Director Mr. Hanke even brought out his guitar (and played it behind his head). Thank you to the Roberts, Keim, Dietrick and Hanke families for helping organize and run this event! It was the most successful Jazz Café fundraiser to date.
