USDA Free Meals Program for All Students

All student lunch accounts have been reimbursed for breakfasts and lunches purchased back to the first day of school. Any negative balance owed is for extra entrée and snack purchases. The free meal program for all students has been extended through the end of the 2020-21 school year.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced a program which offers free hot breakfast and lunch for all students in the U.S. as an extension of Federal COVID-19-related policies. The mandate from the USDA is now including private schools in their extension of free meals to ALL students through December 31, 2020, or until the funding has been exhausted. As a result of this policy implementation, Bishop Luers High School will provide free breakfast and lunch to ALL of our students starting Monday, September 21, 2020. School meal accounts may continue to show a meal cost charged pending updates to our café payment database. Our current understanding is that your account will be reimbursed for all eligible breakfasts and lunches back to the start of the school year. We will inform you of any updates as they develop.
