Girls Varsity Tennis Coach Announced

Coaching the Knights: Ashley Calderon returns to Bishop Luers as Girls Varsity Tennis Head Coach

Bishop Luers High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Calderon as the head coach of varsity girls tennis. Coach Calderon brings several years of tennis coaching experience, including a previous stint at Bishop Luers for three seasons, and five years at Homestead High School. She began her own playing career at age 5, playing through high school and at the Division III collegiate level for St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame. Coach Calderon has been a part of the Bishop Luers community for many years, and her son, Zach, is currently a freshman playing boys varsity tennis and basketball for the school.

Coach Calderon will be joined by Assistant Coaches Patrick Burton and Angie Runion, who will support the team as they seek to drive the program to the next level. The coaching staff will focus on strategy, teamwork, and leadership development as they prepare to be competitive in the SAC this season.
