Carson Clark Wins 2021 Euell Wilson Award

Bishop Luers Senior Carson Clark was presented with the 2021 Euell Wilson Award today by Mark Jaworski of the Journal Gazette. Euell's parents, Shirley and Chris Woods, also joined in presenting the award to Carson.

The Euell Wilson Award has been given to an outstanding senior SAC football player each year in memory of Wilson, Bishop Dwenger's All-American who died at the age of 19 in 1992.
Carson completed 191 of 284 passes (67.3%) for 2,912 yards during the 2021 season. He became the conference's all-time passing yards leader during win over the South Side Archers, passing Bishop Luers alumnus and current quarterback coach James Knapke's record of 5,983 yards. Clark finished his high school football career with 7,082 passing yards and 72 touchdowns.

Clark will continue his football career at Western Illinois University. Go Knights!
