Bishop Luers Artists Recognized by Scholastic Art Awards

The Scholastic Art Awards are in, and Bishop Luers' students have been recognized once again! Our Scholastic region is one of the top regions in the nation, so the competition is fierce. The students recognized are:

  • Teddy McComb earning a Silver Key for his textile woven basket, “Africa”
  • Tommy McComb winning an honorable mention for his textile woven basket, “Tentacle Weaver”

Congratulations to you all! You have achieved excellence in creating meaningful artwork. These artworks will be on display at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Main Street from February 20 until April 9. Please stop in the museum to see hundreds of works from schools in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio at the Scholastic exhibit. Go Knights!
