Bishop Luers Announces 2021 Distinguished Knight and Honorary Knight Award Winners

Rose Ann Scranton ('71) was awarded the Distinguished Knight Award for 2021 at Homecoming on September 24, 2021. A strong supporter of Catholic education, Rosie has shared her talents and treasure with Bishop Luers High School for many years. She enjoys attending Bishop Luers performing arts programs and following the success of our athletes. Rosie has lived as an example of "Luers Spirit" in the manner in which she has given back to our community, and we are grateful for her gifts!

Karlene Krouse was awarded the 2021 Honorary Knight Award for her long service to Bishop Luers and our Performing Arts programs. Karlene has "raised the curtain" at Bishop Luers for 34 years, directing our Show Choir, our three annual theatre productions, and overseeing the Knight Tales Theatre Troupe, all while teaching and mentoring. Karlene's investment in our students has been exemplary, and she consistently models "Luers Spirit" to our community.

Please join Principal Jim Huth and Director of Mission Advancement Louise Jackson in congratulating Rosie Scranton and Karlene Krouse!
