2023 Scholastic Art Competition Winners

The 2023 Scholastic artworks have been judged and Mrs. Billingsley is happy to announce the winners. Our region is one of the top regions in the nation, so the competition is fierce. This year’s winners are Reyna Diaz, Mariana Martinez, Jose Solis, Ariana Barzola-Delgado, and Bea Burton.

Reyna Diaz won a silver key for her painting titled Love Yourself

Mariana Martinez earned a silver key for her pop art portrait

Jose Solis won a gold key for his digital art titled Cyberpunk

Ariana Barzola-Delgado won a gold key for her painted skateboard Doom

Bea Burton won the following:

  • An Honorable mention for her street art spray paint named Self-Reflection
  • A gold key for her blind watercolor titled Normality
  • A gold key for her pop art painting called Stinky Feet

Congratulations to all who participated in the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing competition! Gold key works will proceed to National Adjudication in New York City, so stay tuned! The winning works will be on display at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Main Street from February 11th until April 8th.
