Cafe Food Services

The BLHS Cafe is a place for students and staff to relax and take a break from the school day while enjoying a variety of healthful foods. A daily hot lunch, salads, sandwiches and snacks are available for purchase.

LUNCH PROCEDURES:

  1. ALWAYS HAVE YOUR LUNCH CARD WITH YOU AND BE READY FOR THE CASHIERS TO SCAN IT.
  2. There are 2 hot lunch lines where you may choose your main entrée
  3. You may also choose anything else that is offered on the lunch line.
  4. You MUST take a FRUIT or a VEGETABLE
  5. Milk is included with every meal

We have a salad bar that comes as a separate option and includes soup, roll, and a milk

YOU MAY NOT GO FROM THE SALAD BAR TO THE LUNCH LINE OR FROM LUNCH LINE TO THE SALAD BAR.

Lines form on both sides of the salad bar then merge into the cash line.

We NO LONGER will have a chef salad on the lunch lines as an entrée.

Deposits can be made in 3 ways:

  1. A check or cash in a marked enveloped to the front office.
  2. A check or cash in a marked enveloped handed to any of our cashiers during the lunch lines (NO CASH BACK)
  3. Through WWW.MYPAYMENTSPLUS.COM.


All purchases in the café are by touchless scanning only- student ID required

Free and Reduced Lunch

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The application must be completed and submitted for every school year. Printable instructions and applications are available below. Please note that ALL children will receive free breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year.
