The Fine Arts Department at Bishop Luers is founded on the rich artistic traditions of the Church. Our nationally recognized art programs help students fine tune technical and performance skills, foster creativity, encourage cooperation, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Become a Show Choir Patron

Each Show Choir Member is required to fundraise $400 as part of their show choir fees. Monies raised supports the operating expenses of the Invitational and equipment costs for Show Choir.

HOME OF THE LONGEST RUNNING SHOW CHOIR INVITATIONAL IN THE NATION! Bishop Luers is proud to be the place where high school swing choir competition began more than 45 years ago...In January of 1975 the Minstrels, the swing choir at Bishop Luers High School, conceived the idea of organizing and hosting a swing choir contest.

From beginning band, concert band, jazz band to the ukulele society, Bishop Luers has many opportunities for students to start and expand their instrumental talents.

The Theater Department performs two musicals and one dramatic play each year. Students have the opportunity to earn college credits in Theater has they attend Bishop Luers High School.
