Bishop Luers High School offers a Physical Education program that promotes healthy and active lifestyles.
Topics that are covered in class are:
Per Indiana state law, one year of Physical Education is required to graduate from high school. It is my goal to make Physical Education rewarding and fun for the students. I want my students to learn to enjoy physical activity so that they are more likely to continue it later in life. I want them to have the tools to go to a fitness facility or join a recreational league and feel comfortable in their knowledge of the activities they are wanting to participate. My hope is that all students work hard, sweat and enjoy their Physical Education experience.
