Attention! Scholarship opportunities for the 2018/19 school year – Deadline to return completed applications is May 30, 2018. Please stop by the Business Office to see what scholarships are available or go to the Bishop Luers website under Financial Aid and Scholarships to print the applications. 
 
End of year reminder, if you have rented a calculator from the business office please be sure to return it to the business office before or on the last day of exams which is May 24. Please note: If the calculator is lost, damaged or not returned there will be $130 charge for the replacement Calculator. So be sure to return it no later than May 24.

Anyone interested in being a part of our Model United Nations team for the 2018-2019 school year, there will be a short meeting in Mrs. Skordos room after school today. 
 
If you are taking AP U.S. History next year, please stop by and see Mrs. Skordos before you leave for summer break. There will be a summer assignment.

TODAY’S EVENTS

 

 

IF you are a current junior interested in a career in medicine and healthcare consider attending the IU Northeast Summer Program (formerly IPFW).  The free week long program (June 11-15) provides interactive demonstrations of anatomy and physiology, an overview of bench and clinical research, and opportunities to learn about other careers in healthcare.  Registration is due by May 25. Please see Ms. Allegrini to pick up information or to register.

Are you looking for a summer job? Check out the job board outside of the guidance counselor offices for updated postings.

Any students interested in being an OFFICER (Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) for the Home Ec Club beginning next year, please report to Miss Andert’s room after school on Monday, May 21, for a short meeting. Juniors, this would look great on a college resume!

 

Home Ec Club will be a new club for the 2018-2019 school year. It will seek to teach students life skills to keep long after graduation including: cooking, sewing, cleaning, child care, resume crafting, basic car care, self-defense and much more! This club will include many hands on activities and experiences, and include lessons from many different teachers and outside professionals. See Miss Andert with any questions.
