TODAY’S EVENTS

Interested in playing boys basketball this year? There is open gym this Saturday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

 

Last Saturday, the girls’ cross country team and Stephen Busch competed in the Marion Regional. The girls’ team finished with a third-place finish, the best team finish in school history at regionals. They will run this Saturday at the Plex in the New Haven Semi-State. Also, Stephen Busch, senior, had a great race and also advanced to the New Haven Semi-State as an individual. Congrats to all and best of wishes for a great Regional run!

Seniors, if you are interested in applying for the Student of Integrity Scholarship, sponsored by the Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana, please pick up the essay requirement in Guidance Room 144. The BBB will be honoring two high school Students of Integrity by awarding each student a $2,000 scholarship. These recipients will have distinguished themselves as role models of integrity and ethical behavior in their school and their community. Bishop Luers is only allowed to submit only one nominee. All essays are due in room 144 by noon on Monday, Nov. 5.

 

Don’t forget:

Auditions for the Christmas musical “West Side Story” are on Oct 23  from 3- 7:45 p.m. in the choir room. This is a great opp0rtunity to be in one of the best musicals of all times. Sign up outside the choir room for an audition time. Scripts will be available in the bookstore Wednesday, Oct. 17. There will be a vocal and choreography workshop for the show if anyone need help on Monday, Oct. 22, 2 from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
