Students celebrate Homecoming Week

We're throwing it back to 1958 for Homecoming Week, and celebrating the 60th anniversary of Bishop Luers High School in style. The following days are planned:

  • Monday was '50s Day.
  • Tuesday events celebrated 1958, a year filled with the creation of the best comics -- like the Legion of Superheros and Supergirl. Students dressed up as their favorite superhero.
  • Wednesday was dedicated to alumni. Dress up as your parents. It doesn't matter if they went to Bishop Luers or not. Come wearing your best work suit or scrubs.
  • For Thursday, the U.S. founded NASA in 1958. Students dressed up in their wackiest space attire. We were invaded by astronauts and aliens.
  • Friday is Luers Loonies. We had an assembly celebrating our athletes.
