Students to take part in 'Get-Schooled Tour'

Dear Parent(s),

Bishop Luers students will have the opportunity to participate in the “Get-Schooled Tour.” Students will participate in an anonymous poll through their mobile device’s web browser, connected to a secure, closed Wi-Fi environment. No identifying information pertaining to the students’ names, phone numbers or email addresses is included in the polling. The “Get Schooled Tour” will take place on Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. in our gymnasium.

Information about the “Get Schooled Tour” is posted on the school website. If you would like to review a video summarizing the purpose and intent of the “Get Schooled Tour,” it will be available online at

The Get School Tour and Bishop Luers want as many students as possible to participate. However, the following safeguards are in place:

A parent can decide that his/her child will not participate.

A student can decide that he/she does not wish to participate.

A student can choose to participate and stop at any time.

If you do not want your student to participate, please contact the school office so that we can call the student down before the assembly. Any student not participating will sit in the front office during the assembly.

Any student who does not wish to participate may report directly to the front office at the time of the assembly.

At the conclusion of the hour long convocation, students have the option to speak directly with a school counselor or chaplain to help with their struggle. The Get Schooled Tour is funded by The Lutheran Foundation and LookUP Indiana. Crisis chat center cards will be provided to the students following the event through LookUP.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school at 260-456-1261.
