Walk-A-Thon: Friday, October 2, 2009

 Students collect pledges from friends, family, neighbors, businesses, and teachers before the day of Walk-A-Thon. On October 2nd, students, alumni, friends and supervisors will walk a planned route in groups in the Luers neighborhood during the morning, return to the school cafeteria for a free lunch, and then have the afternoon off.

• Parent volunteers are needed to help that day at checkpoints, bike patrol, traffic supervision, and with lunch preparation & cleanup.

• Volunteers are needed before the fundraiser for preparations, solicit incentive prizes for the students, bake cookies, send in candy or pop and for bookkeeping (counting and recording the money raised.)
