Throughout the year, various events lead up to
LuersKnight which takes place in April in the beautifully
transformed Bishop Luers High School gymnasium. Our theme every year
changes the gym into a magnificent masterpiece of creativity. With
your continued support, LuersKnight has had over 300 in attendance.
LuersKnight begins with entertainment from the students, a fabulous
dinner along with silent and live auctions throughout the evening. A
portion of the monies raised provide needs-based tuition assistance.
The remainder is used to facilitate the operating budget for the
school. This includes keeping all of our tuition costs down as well
as meeting the needs of the teachers and students.
Be a
Volunteer
Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this a
successful event. There are small jobs if you only have a couple of
hours or more involved jobs that involve planning and construction
of the gymnasium itself. If you are interested in helping click on
the volunteer form and mail or send it in to the Development Office.
Every job from folding flyers to painting backdrops is important and
makes LuersKnight truly special!
Donate to Auction
Over 500 oral and silent auction items are sold each year at
LuersKnight. You can sponsor an item (ex. a trip or a Wii) or donate
a special gift for the auction. A cash donation is always welcome!
All sponsors are listed in our LuersKnight auction catalogue and the
Black and Red Pages. Your contribution can truly make a difference.
Attend or Sponsor a
Party
Gift Gathering Parties are a fun way to be a part of
the Luers Family. Admission to each party is an item for the
auction, entry fee or a cash donation which will be used to purchase
a gift for the auction. We also ask that every family donates $25.00
to sponsor a party. This enables us to keep our costs down for each

Purchase a Raffle Ticket
You can also be a part of LuersKnight by selling one or more raffle
tickets. Each ticket is $100.00 and our goal is that every Luers
family sells at least 1 ticket. A raffle ticket can be sold to a
co-worker, friend, family member, etc. Anyone selling 10 tickets
will receive a free ticket to try their own luck! A drawing on
Monday, April 26 in the front office, decides the winners of $5000,
$3000, $1000 and $1000 respectively. Thank you for your great
response last year. Let’s keep it up!
Attending
LuersKnight
Put together a table of 8 friends, family members or alumni and be
treated to a fabulous evening with fellow Luers supporters. Table
Sponsorships are available and include a table of 8 along with 1
free raffle ticket and an ad in our publication. Individual tickets,
program sponsorships and table information to follow. Again, these
monies raised are felt by all students at Bishop Luers High School.
Your generosity and assistance has molded what Luers is today, a
spiritually, academically motivated and diverse school that has
thrived and will continue to thrive for many years!
