Bishop Luers High
School Mission Statement
“You are the light of the world...your light
must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and
glorify your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
The
mission of the Bishop Luers High School family is to create a
Catholic educational community that instills in each student the
qualities of faith, respect, and responsibility necessary to reach
his or her God-given potential spiritually, academically, and
socially. This maturity nurtured by Catholic truths will enable
each graduate to face the challenges in his or her own life while
serving God and others in a changing society.
We are the light of the world!

Our Challenge
Bishop Luers High School is facing a ‘landmark’ opportunity to move
forward and continue to live its mission. This endeavor can only
succeed with the prayerful and continued generous support of our
entire school family. When people consider their own participation
in this historic event, we ask that they consider not only what
Bishop Luers means to them, but to the Fort Wayne community as a
whole.
Bishop Luers High
School always has been, and continues to be an outstanding
institution where students come first. They grow and mature to be
outstanding young men and women who are committed to Christ and
ready for the world beyond our walls. There is a real sense of
family at Bishop Luers. The sense of community continues long after
graduation. The Luers Spirit is alive and well.
