  • Coaching Staff
    • Head Coach: Jordan Miller, Room 157, jmiller@bishopluers.org

  • Practice
    • 3:30 - 6:00 (Athletes will change and report to Coach Miller’s room by 3:00)
    • IHSAA rule: 10 official practice before athletes may compete in any meet
  • Meets
    • See schedule on reverse side for full calendar.
    • Team buses will be taken to meets.
    • If you decide to take your athlete home after a meet, there is a transportation slip that needs to be signed and turned in 24 hours before the meet.
    • We ask that parents donate water and food to at least one meet. There will be further details provided at the parent meeting.
  • 3 Rivers Shoe Sale
    • Bishop Luers track athletes will receive a 25% discount on shoes and spikes and a 30% discount on apparel from Three Rivers Running Company during a specific 2-week period at the beginning of the season. These discounts may increase if we, as a team, buy enough from the store. The staff there is very knowledgeable and willing to put you in the right shoes. This is a completely optional promotion.
    • Racing spikes are not required but highly suggested, especially in events shorter than the 1600.
  • Fundraisers
    • Trash Bag Sales
      • Rolls of trash bags are $10 each with sizing available from Kitchen to 65 gallon
    • T-Shirt and Website Sponsors
      • If you or your business is looking for advertising on the Bishop Luers track site and the team shirt, please contact Coach Miller.
    • Team Store
      • Team Merchandise can be purchased from a digital team store during a 2-week period at the beginning of the season. Clothing options range from shorts and t-shirts, to hoodies and jackets.
      • More information will be available during the parent meeting.
  • Parent Meeting
    • There will be a Parent Meeting after the 1st official practice on February 13th. This meeting will start at 6:30.
    • This meeting is not mandatory, but is HIGHLY suggested. This meeting will cover team rules, food and meet workers scheduling, fundraising, team store, and an open question and answer forum.
  • Team Dues to Athletic Department
    • $25
  • Team Spirit Wear
    • We order 2 shirts which will display our sponsors on the back of the shirt and team logo on the front.
    • Athletes may have to pay for spirit shirt if sponsorships are low. Ideally, these shirts are a gift to the athletes.
    • Additionally spirit wear can be purchased through the team store at the beginning of the season.
