Bishop Luers offers such a wide variety of activities you're sure to find a group of friends who share your interests! 

Academic Super Bowl - Open to all grades.  Squads compete in the areas of Fine Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.  Practices begin in November with competitions in March, April, and May.

National Honor Society

A student must have a 10.0 cumulative GPA. They must show participation in service and be involved in a variety of activities within the school. Sophomore and above may participate.

Key Club All grade levels. Must have performed 50 hours of community service by the end of the year to be considered a Key Club Member. Meetings Monday evening.

Student Council  - Every class has representatives and a Class President. The school has a student body President that is voted on by the senior class.  Elections take place in early May.

Speech and Debate - If you enjoy the challenge of capturing an audience, or thinking quickly on your feet, this club could use your talents.

Newspaper - KnightTimes, the monthly student newspaper takes a fresh look at issues, events, and school activities important to the Luers community. If you’re a sophomore, junior, or senior,  enjoy writing and working with a team, this club needs your byline.

Yearbook - Members of the Journalism Department spend all year writing, taking photos, and creating page layouts for the Accolade. Join the staff and help record memories to last a lifetime.

World Culture Club - Each month speakers share experiences pertaining to their culture, food, and travels abroad.  This club allows you to broaden your horizons and investigate the world without leaving the classroom.

Future Business Leaders of America - Young business minds tackle projects and programs designed to simulate the real business world. Placed 3rd in the city’s Stock Market Competition in 2003..

Freshman Mentoring – Make the first semester of high school smooth sailing with the support of an experienced Junior or Senior. As a group, freshmen ask questions and participate in activities with upper-class students as mentors.

Student Ambassadors- These students are handpicked to spread the good news about Bishop Luers. You’ll lead tours during the Annual Open House and visit the Catholic feeder schools to promote all that Luers has to offer.
