PEER MINISTRY
Bishop Luers High School has a team of 50 students involved in Peer Ministry, from all four classes, who, in response to their Baptismal call, have accepted the invitation to serve the school community. 

PEER MINISTRY is open to senior and junior students who apply in April for the following school year and who are chosen through a discernment process. Peer minister’s serve for one school year. Peer ministers provide a variety of ministries to the school: Proclaimer’s of the Word, Minister’s of Holy Communion, sacristans, liturgical environment, choir and music minister’s, greeters, prayer leaders, servers, and sound ministry.  Peer ministers also provide leadership for Bishop Luers monthly service projects.

APOSTLES peer ministry is open to sophomores who want to be involved with peer ministry.  The Apostles provide a support team of trained ministers to assist the senior and junior peer ministers.

DISCIPLES peer ministry is open to freshmen students who wish to continue developing their leadership.
