Campus Ministry seeks to empower young people to live as disciples of
Jesus Christ; draw them to a responsible participation in the work
of the Catholic faith community; and to foster their total personal and
spiritual growth.
Campus Ministry shares
with the entire school community the responsibility to offer
opportunities for enriching the spiritual lives of the students, their
families, faculty and staff. Through daily prayer, liturgical
celebrations, retreats, peer ministry, service, and pastoral counseling,
we integrate gospel values into the daily life of the school. Campus
Ministry is sensitive to the religious and moral growth of all students
of all faiths.
CHAPEL
We are privileged to
have the
Blessed Sacrament
reserved in our school chapel daily. Morning Prayer is prayed at 7:30
a.m. in the chapel on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Mass is celebrated first and third Wednesday mornings in the chapel
before school at 7:30 a.m. Eucharistic Adoration is held one Wednesday
each month. Stations of the Cross are prayed every Friday morning
during Lent. The chapel is always open during school hours for
private prayer
or for individual class prayer services. Our all-school
Reconciliation services are celebrated during Advent and Lent.
PRIESTS
We are blessed to have many of our area priests available to our
students and staff on a regular basis. Chaplains assigned to our
school are Father Daryl Rybicki, Father Larry Kramer, and Father David
Ruppert. Rather Rybicki is in the school on Thursdays.
Father Kramer is in the school on Wednesdays. Father Ruppert is in the
school on Tuesdays. These priests are available for the Sacrament
of Reconciliation or conversation with students or staff.
