Students
at Bishop Luers High School have the opportunity to be involved with
multiple service ministries throughout the year. Student led
service projects include fall and spring canned good drives for the
Franciscan Center and the Community Harvest Food Bank Baby clothes,
diapers, and formula are collected yearly during Advent for the
Women’s Care Center. Lenten service projects include Rice Bowl
collections for Catholic Relief Services, Heifer International, and
additional canned food drives.
Bishop Luers students volunteer in area hospitals,
nursing homes, schools, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Scouting,
coaching grade schools teams, teach in parish religious education
programs, and volunteer in many other settings throughout the year,
sharing their gifts with young and old alike. In addition, Bishop
Luers is proud to have one of the areas outstanding Key Clubs with a
high level of student participation, directed by Ms. Heather
Briggs.
