Enrollment in Bishop Luers High School is subject to the approval of the Diocese and the Bishop Luers High School administration. In order to foster an environment which promotes the optimum educational and spiritual development of the student, every parent/guardian of each student is expected to act as a cooperative partner with the Diocese and School and comply with all policies and rules which are established by the Diocese or School.

Peer Tutoring

Before and After-school Tutoring

Peer Tutoring is moderated by Bishop Luers Faculty. Tutoring is offered before school and after school. Schedule is provided for your convenience. Please utilize this great program.

High academics standards continue to be the focal point at Bishop Luers High School. Students learn critical thinking and problem solving skills and benefit from small class sizes and personal attention. Students may choose from Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, Honors and Academic classes. Bishop Luers High School presents seven Advanced Placement classes that are accessible over four disciplines: math, science, history, and English. Additionally, two dual credit courses are conveyed in business and advanced theater arts, whereby students are able to earn both high school and college credits. Honor and academic courses are offered in math, science, English and history. Bishop Luers High School's art program is extensive, offering 19 different courses.

Anthis Career Center

The following classes are available to juniors and seniors at the Anthis Career Center, 1200 South Barr Street. Classes are offered in the morning or in the afternoon for three credit hours.

Students who attend the Anthis Career Center must fill out an additional registration form at the time of registration. It is recommended that when possible, students register for morning Anthis classes. This eliminates many of the conflicts caused by various schedules at Bishop Luers High School.
