Dear Friends of Bishop Luers,
It is a joy to be the leader of Bishop Luers High School. Our students, the work of our staff, and the good that is accomplished in our building, makes coming to school each day a blessing. We laugh, we learn, we grow, we do God’s will. The good that occurs in this place can not be done without your help. You have been generous in the past; I believe that you will continue to be generous.

Research shows that even in times of economical unrest in this country, parents are not willing to compromise their children’s education. The reality is, though, that our families need help paying the tuition. Your gift to the Annual Fund can assist. Our building is old, but it is well maintained. It is clean. To continue to keep it that way, we need your help. Your gift to the Annual Fund can assist. Our teachers are eager to provide the most current technology for the benefit of student learning. It is costly; your gift to our Annual Fund can assist. Our desire is to maintain our Catholic identity, to continue to include and infuse the teachings of the Church into all that we do at Bishop Luers High School. We want our worship time to reflect our desire to please Our Lord.

Annual Fund total as of February 10, 2012 - $31,430 from 210 donors.

What impact will your gift to the Annual Fund have?

• Above all else, we are a community rooted in the principles of our Catholic faith. As we look forward to adopting the revised Roman Missal of the Mass this Advent, our devoted chaplains and spiritual directors request funds to replace outdated vestments and other items used to celebrate our all school Masses and prayer services.
• As always, contributions allow us to advance our academics by providing more learning opportunities through interactive classroom SMART boards, enhancing our technology infrastructure and capabilities, replacing outdated student desks, and fulfilling a vast array of faculty classroom requests.
• Our students are taught and encouraged to live a life of service. No matter where the need arises, our students don’t sit on the sidelines, but lead by example. Your contribution is not only an example in and of itself, but also ensures that our school will continue to thrive and provide these opportunities for future generations of Luers students.
• We are known for our tradition of excellence, in the classroom, on the stage, and on the field and court. You help ensure this tradition by supporting those in need with tuition assistance who otherwise may not have the opportunity to receive such a valuable education at Bishop Luers. Our students today will in turn carry on the “Luers Spirit” through your gift.

We are the Knights of the world. We are a community of faith, academics, service, and tradition. Our students are a living witness to these values, preparing for lives of leadership well beyond the halls of Luers. Any gift you are able to make supports our students in this calling.
