Annual Fund

Dear Friends of Bishop Luers,

Our teachers plan, prepare, and deliver a quality Catholic education for our students.

Our priests, theology department and campus minister evangelize, and deliver the Good News about our Catholic faith for our students.

Our coaches, athletic department, and club moderators give of their time to fulfill the social aspect of our mission for our students.

Our kitchen staff prepares nutritious meals every day for our students.

Our maintenance staff keeps our school and grounds clean and in working order for our students.

Our development office and alumni office work to provide for our students.

Our admissions office and PR department assist our parents and the public with good news about our students.

Our business office maintains and balances our budget for our students.

Our Guidance department leads, make suggestions, and plan for our students.

Our parents sacrifice to send their students to a Catholic school.

Our volunteers serve on the School Board, work our events, and give of their time and talents for our students.

Our request of you is that you help each of us do our job by giving of your treasures for our students.

Thank you to those of you who will give this year and who have given in past years.

Sincerely,
Mary Keefer, Principal

2013 Annual Fund Goal: $62,000

Annual Fund total as of February 14, 2013, we have received $35,253.65.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” –Matthew 5: 14-16

At Bishop Luers, we challenge ourselves to live out Christ’s command to be a beacon of light for our world. However, we cannot accomplish this mission alone and prayerfully ask for your help in doing so.

Let your light shine upon our needs:
  • Above all else, we are a community rooted in the principles of our Catholic faith. As we have entered into “The Year of Faith” decreed by the Church, we plan to distribute copies of YouCat, the youth catechism for teens, and other resources to our students. In addition, we will acquire other needed items for our campus ministry office, ensuring that we are equipped to help evangelize our faith.
  • As always, contributions allow us to advance our academics by enhancing our technology infrastructure and capabilities, replacing outdated student desks, providing professional development opportunities for our teachers, and fulfilling a vast array of faculty classroom requests.
  • This school year, nearly 80% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance. We continue to need your support to help offset tuition costs for our students so that we can ensure that each of our students continues to receive an affordable, quality, Catholic education.

We are the light of the world. At Bishop Luers, we foster this light that will allow our students to lead lives of faith and leadership well beyond the halls of Bishop Luers. Any gift you are able to make supports our students in this calling. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
