Alumni Board

Purpose

 To broaden the base of human and financial support by providing multiple opportunities for graduates to build and sustain lasting and meaningful relationships with each other, with current students, and with the school’s faculty and staff.

To determine creative ways to get alumni more involved in the life of Bishop Luers High School.

To allow alumni and school administration to work together to promote and support the mission of the school.

Responsibilities

Ambassador for Bishop Luers

Serve as liaison between Bishop Luers and the community, specifically your graduating class.
Be knowledgeable about Bishop Luers events and happenings.
Be in constant communication with your classmates and the Alumni Office by maintaining current email addresses, home addresses and phone numbers.

Assist with special events and the Annual Fund; support all fund-raising activities and encourage others to participate.

Attend monthly or bimonthly alumni meetings as an active participant.

Demonstrate the importance of philanthropy at Luers by setting an example for others. Make a prayerful donation to the annual fund and/or sponsor one of our major events.

We are looking for more Alumni

One of the main goals or responsibilities for these class agents is to act as the liaison between Luers and their classmates.

To serve as an ambassador, communicating and promoting all Luers events, important information, etc.

The board members are also asked to sit on at least one of our special event committees and assist with the annual fund.
